<p>We met the very romantic "modern way" online in 2023. After about 2 weeks Jon asked if I wanted to go to Portland with him to try a restaurant on his list, Le Pigeon. We loved it so much we go back at least once a year! We spent the year showing each other new things. I showed Jon my favorite spots in Olympic National Park, introduced him to my favorite podcasts, and made him learn more about horses than he ever imagined. He introduced me to good whiskeys, bad whiskeys, and Malort (which I don't even know how to categorize). We traveled a lot! Visiting Portland, Yakima, Vashon Island, Forks, Olympic National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, Hood River, and Wisconsin to name a few!</p>

2023

<p>We started the year in a treehouse in Port Angeles ringing in the new year with new friends. We surprised Jon for his birthday with friends visiting from all over. We still traveled a lot, took a lot of classes, learned how to make pasta and floral arrangements, and Jon convinced me to be brave and bike through downtown Seattle. We went back to Wisconsin, saw even more shows, went to Vancouver. Glossy retired at the end of the year and Jon helped this very sad horse girl recover!</p>
